DESCRIPTION:An applied introduction to survival analysis for researchers wh
o plan to use this method in their own research or studies.\n\nThe course
focuses on key concepts and practical skills\, with applied examples and d
atasets to teach implementation and model interpretation.\n\nThe course ma
kes use of R and the survival/survminer packages. Some code in early chapt
ers is also provided in Python using the lifelines package.\n\nBy the end
of the course\, participants should be able to:\n\n* Recognise key feature
 s of time-to-event data (e.g.\, censoring)\n* Visualise time-to-event data
with survival curves\n* Run a log-rank test to compare survival curves\n*
Build multivariate Cox regression models for more complex datasets\n* Int
erpret the output and assumptions of the above statistical tests\n* Know t
he limitations of the above statistical tests\n\n\n Book this event o
